An important factor in the development of a plastic surgeon is the opportunity to grow, under guidance and direct supervision.

Would you want a heart surgeon who is self-taught?

Every plastic surgeon in our network has had a minimum of 5 years of training in an accredited plastic surgery residency or 2 years of fellowship after a surgical residency.
Board certification helps differentiate the best from the crowd. The process is so rigorous that nearly 20% of trained plastic surgeons fail each year.

To date, only 7,201 plastic surgeons have been board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.

Note: Only the American Board of Plastic Surgery is recognized by the ABMS to certify plastic surgeons.
Friends and family can give first hand testimonies, but it's crucial that you check the doctor's track record beyond that.

Each state has a medical board that keeps record of disciplinary actions, malpractice judgments, and much more for each doctor.

We take these records very seriously. Any surgeon who is found to have any major state board action would be removed from our network immediately.
